Before you can apply for admission to the NDA, you must ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria. To be eligible for NDA, you must be an Indian citizen, unmarried, and have completed 10+2 education or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Additionally, you must also meet the age criteria, which is that you must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence.
The application process for NDA is done online and is simple and straightforward. You need to visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), which is the body responsible for conducting the NDA entrance exam. In first 3 years students will take similar classes irrespective of their specialization. Next one year they will be trained only in their specialization. NDA is world’s first tri-service academy.
