The CBSE invites all college and university students to submit their applications for the CSSS program. Seize this opportunity to elevate your academic experience!

Students who want to renew their scholarship or apply for a new one must visit scholarships.gov.in. The deadline for submitting the online application form for both renewal and new scholarships is July 31.

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has launched the online application process for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships (CSSS) for college and university students. Scholarships available for the academic year 2025-26 include first renewals for 2024, second renewals for 2023, third renewals for 2022, and fourth renewals for 2021.

All candidates are advised to submit their applications online before the deadline specified in the notification. It is also necessary to verify online applications with the respective institutions and provide original required documents; otherwise, applications will be deemed invalid. To register, students must use a One-Time Registration (OTR) number, create a password, and enter a Captcha code.

By using the OTR, personal details such as photographs and demographic information will be automatically populated. If there are any changes, students must update their Aadhaar card. Changes will then be reflected in the student's OTR profile through a fresh eKYC process. After updating, the details in the NSP OTR will automatically appear in the NSP application form.

Students must register their mobile numbers and include the OTP received on the registered mobile. Any incorrect or false information may lead to the rejection of scholarships. Students, parents, or legal guardians are encouraged to provide an active mobile number and email address in the OTR registration form, as all communication from the authority will occur via the submitted mobile number or email.

Lastly, NSP officials have requested that the respective modal officers at the institutes verify (approve or reject) online applications in a timely manner through their institute login.
